Mental Health Support

Supporting Your Child's Mental Health Just Got Easier

We know that sometimes students need extra support beyond what school counseling can provide. That's why our district mental health team created a simpler, more direct path to connect your child with professional therapy services right here at school.

Here's how it works: We now have a streamlined mental health request form that both parents and staff can use when they feel a student might benefit from working with a therapist. This is separate from our regular short term school counseling services with the school counselor—it's specifically for connecting families to licensed mental health professionals.

When you complete the form, it goes straight to the school counselor. They will then reach out to have a conversation with you to learn more about your child's needs and walk you through the consent process. Based on your family's insurance coverage, they will connect you with the most appropriate mental health services available.
