I am so excited to be a part of the Hornet family! I have been a special education teacher for over 10 years and am thrilled to begin my third year serving the students at Leslie Elementary as the Resource Teacher.

My teaching philosophy is simple: I believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed. My goal is to help students become confident, lifelong learners by encouraging perseverance, celebrating progress, and supporting them through every challenge along the way.

I earned my Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am passionate about helping students reach their highest potential, both academically and professionally.

Outside of school, I am a wife and proud mom of three wonderful boys who keep life busy, exciting, and full of joy!
