Hello and Welcome to Lesslie! I have been a part of the Lesslie Elementary family since the 2023-24 school year and have enjoyed every minute. It has been an absolute joy getting to know our students and their families.

You may be wondering a little about me! I have lived in Rock Hill since moving here with my parents from Hickory, North Carolina, in 1977. I am a product of Rock Hill Schools, ultimately graduating with honors from Northwestern High School. I have a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in Education and a certificate in Flute Performance from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks! #forevertothee). My husband, Lyle, is a financial advisor and we have two daughters: Clara, 22, a soon-to-be graduate of the University of Arkansas, and Mary Parker, 17, a soon-to-be graduate of Rock Hill High School. We are active members of Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church and love to play golf, hike, and travel when we’re not having to do grown-up things!
