Kaleena Gibson

Mrs. Kaleena Gibson

Hello! My name is Kaleena Gibson. I am one of the academic interventionists at Lesslie. This will be the start of my 23rd year in education. I’ve taught second and third grades and have been an interventionist for 8 years.

I am originally from Manning, S.C., but currently reside in Rock Hill. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University, and I am currently a National Board Certified teacher.

My husband, OJ, and I have one son, Bryson, who is 14 years old. When I am not teaching, I love to attend concerts, walk at local parks, work out at any gym, visit different restaurants, and travel with family and friends. I am excited about building relationships within our school community. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child’s face light up when they experience that “aha!” moment. This is going to be a fantastic year!
